The Galilee Stencils are created from authentic ancient designs found in houses, mosaic floors, temples, synagogues, and churches in Israel from the end of the 19th century through 1935. These unique stencils are authentic revivals of historic architectural designs, incorporating original frescos, stone reliefs, and mosaics found in documented archeological, historical, and religious sites in Israel, mainly from the historic Sea of Galilee area (including Nazareth, Capernaum, Tabgha, Kursi, Tel-Aviv, and other areas).

The designs will move your spirit when you see how Alyson Smith,
our own creative master finisher, has delved into the minds of ancient artists to discover their age-old techniques. She has re-created sample boards replicating the special effects of these ancient finishes.

In this workshop, Alyson will reveal her secrets of how she created
these unique recipes. This is a “journey” you won’t want to miss. These documented historical finishes will bring your portfolio to a new level.
